About the Event

Are you ready to start the season off with the chance of 100 inches of Bronze Beasts? That is what the Juniata is capable of producing this time of year. Early April could mean snow, rain or sunshine...the risk is worth it.  Expectations are high for this event. We couldn't be more excited to start our season off on this epic fishery.  With over 60 miles of the Juniata River Valley are in play, there will be ample amounts of water for anglers to spread out and fish too. The Juniata is a well known spawning hub for the Smallmouth of the Susquehanna and it's not uncommon for large groups of large adult females to migrate far up into the Juniata during this time of year! We hope everyone comes out and enjoys this fishery to its full potential!
